SIMULTANEOUS

Simultaneous Interpretation in the Romanian Booth for conferences, missions, delegations, events, summits, galas, etc. Simultaneous interpretation services must take place in a booth and be supervised by technical staff. Suitable for high-level meetings, meetings with 10+ participants, or meetings with multiple languages spoken.

TOUR-GUIDE INTERPRETATION

Another type of simultaneous interpretation, suitable for missions, visits, interviews or focus-groups. It implies the interpreter wearing a microphone (master) into which they interpret the sound they pick without headset. The interpreter is in the same room as the listeners, therefore might interfere with the speaker, if the ideal distance is not kept. The listener wears a headset for better sound clarity. A minimum technical equipment is necessary (tour-guide system).

CONSECUTIVE

Consecutive Interpretation is suitable for smaller events, generally, those where technical equipment can not be installed. It is suitable for negotiations and business meetings. The interpreter will only require a place to sit while taking notes and will render the message while the original speaker takes a short break.

REMOTE SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION

Simultaneous interpretation in the Virtual Booth, this interpretation option requires a supporting platform (Zoom, Webex, Teams, Qonda etc.), and a minimum of technical assistance, usually provided directly by the client. The interpreters will work in a booth-like manner while listening and seeing the speaker online. It is fast, cost-effective, and convenient for very large audiences.

WHISPERING

Whispering is a form of simultaneous interpretation without the booth and technical equipment. The interpreter will whisper for one, maximum two persons while seated on a chair slightly in the back. This has its limitations, and is not suitable for longer meetings, as the interpreter and the listeners will listen to both languages simultaneously.
